The pilgrimage is sponsored by the Society of Mary and the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsginham. It wil be led by Bishop Robert Ladds, superior of the Society of Mary and other Bishops and Guardians of the Anglican and Catholic shrines at Walsingham.

Taking place in the 150th Anniversary year since the Apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to St Bernadette, it will coincide with an Ecumenical Conference. Cardinal Kasper, President of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, will preside at Mass on the Feast of Our Lady of Walsingham.
